Too many streaming movies and not enough time? We got your June covered with what to watch this month on Netflix. Here are some of the big premieres that you should pay attention to, along with the full list of debuts below. Happy streaming!

Fatherhood - June 18

"Fatherhood" arrives just in time for Father's Day. Like Chris Rock before him, Kevin Hart steps away from comedy for this family drama from director Paul Weitz ("American Pie," "About a Boy"). Hart stars as a recent widower who is faced with raising his baby daughter on his own. Initially slated for a theatrical release, "Fatherhood" was sold to Netflix from Sony/Columbia Pictures after facing multiple pandemic-related delays. Time should be on the movie's side, as this looks to be a perfect watch for Father's Day; especially in honoring the struggles that single dads face every day.

The Ice Road - June 25

Liam Neeson brings his very particular set of skills to the small screen with this Canadian-set thriller. Neeson stars as an ice road trucker who leads a near-impossible rescue mission over a frozen yet thawing ocean. And for those that wanna rock, look for the movie's hit single "I've Been Everywhere," from Nikki Sixx, Rob Zombie, and the newly formed supergroup L.A. Rats. But, does this hard-rockin' Johnny Cash cover really make the movie? We shall see...

America: The Motion Picture - June 30

(warning: trailer contains adult language)

There's never been a better time to poke some fun at America. The brains behind TV's "Archer" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" deliver this twisted send-up that combines superhero bombast with a bit of (fake) history. Led by a chainsaw-wielding Wolverine-like George Washington (voice: Channing Tatum), America's Mightiest Historical Heroes assemble to take down those pesky Redcoats.

Also now available to watch includes classic '80s coming-of-age drama "Stand By Me" and 2004 Best Picture winner "Million Dollar Baby." Later in the month, dramedy "Silver Linings Playbooks" returns to Netflix, while recent religious horror/thriller "The Seventh Day" makes its streaming debut.
