August is stacked with plenty of original films on Netflix to keep you occupied all month. A few big titles to look forward to include "The Kissing Booth 3," "Beckett," and the '90s gender-swapped remake "He's All That." Not to mention there are plenty of classics and modern gems for genre lovers and families to enjoy. We highlight a few of the big premieres to watch on Netflix, along with the full list of debuts below. Happy streaming!

Vivo - August 6

Lin-Manuel Miranda brings his musical prowess to Netflix in this new animated summertime treat for the family. Miranda voices the titular Vivo, a jovial kinkajou who has a knack for singing. Along with voice acting duties, the songsmith also penned 11 songs for the animated musical. "Vivo" was originally slated for theaters this summer, before Netflix picked it up from Sony for a streaming debut.

Netflix's popular teen rom-com film series will be coming to its conclusion this month. Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney all return for this threequel that was actually filmed back-to-back with "Part 2." In this final installment, Elle (King) sets out to make the most of her last summer at home before heading to college.

Beckett - August 13

John David Washington proved himself as a capable leading man last year in Christopher Nolan's mind-bending thriller "Tenet." Washington now finds himself on the run in Greece in this Italian thriller from Ferdinando Cito Filomarino and producer Luca Guadangnino ("Call Me By Your Name"). It's certainly a different kind of film from Washington's previous Netflix film, the black-and-white drama "Malcolm & Marie."

While Netflix will not disappoint with their debut of big original films, the month would not be complete without plenty of classics to tickle your nostalgia. For those that are streaming "Midnight Run" right now on Netflix, you can continue to honor the late Charles Grodin with "Beethoven" 1 and 2. Netflix also has some back-to-back Leo DiCaprio with "Inception" and "Catch Me If You Can." You can get some good laughs with "Team America: World Police" and "The Original Kings of Comedy," watch an emaciated and sleepless Christian Bale in "The Machinist," or veg out with "Ferris Bueller" on his day off. Modern hits to look for include the socially distant love story "Five Feet Apart," the retirement comedy "Poms," and the kung fu comedy "The Paper Tigers."
