2021's early family hit "Tom & Jerry" is making its way back to HBO Max, along with a slew of top movie premieres and classic gems. Here are some of the big movies you should watch, along with the full list of HBO Max debuts below. Happy streaming!

The Hunt - July 8

Blumhouse's "The Hunt" is one of those movies that found no luck after it was announced. Its first planned release date was pulled after a spate of deadly mass shootings. Then it drew the ire and condemnation from right-wing media. When it finally did debut in theaters, a week later the world shut down amid the growing pandemic. It grossed only $16M before being sent to PVOD to recoup some early losses. In the middle of this, the film itself did manage to find some love with those that got a chance to see it. "The Hunt" is political satire with a horror slant and is sure to entertain.

Space Jam: A New Legacy - July 16

LeBron James has been facing comparisons to NBA legend Michael Jordan ever since his stellar rookie season debut with the Cavs in 2003. Therefore, Hollywood couldn't think of anyone better to carry on the cinematic legacy Jordan forged in 1996. The Tune Squad is back, and this time they're teaming up with NBA's newest legend for another epic matchup against the Goon Squad. Of course, we look back now at the original "Space Jam" through rose-colored glasses. But, if rapping Porky Pig is any indication, the same might not be true for this belated sequel.

Freaky - July 24

Blumhouse is back with another horror genre mashup. "Freaky" mixes the body-swap genre that was a staple of the '70s and '80s, with some feel-good bloody horror. The result was a film that cleverly toes its own line. After all, director Christopher Landon ("Happy Death Day") knows a thing or two about proper genre mixology.

HBO Max might be a little light on new originals and premieres this month, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty to stream. Tyler Perry fans in particular can say "Hellur!" to a host of Madea films to binge all month. Other binge-worthy classics include the entire O.G. "Planet of the Apes" series. You can walk with Eminem through his growing pains in Detroit in "8 Mile," or you can flash forward to a future where Taco Bell is fine dining in "Demolition Man." You can take in the first three "Scream" films, or veg out to B-Marvel-Movies like "The Punisher." If you're a fan of HBO's "Westworld," why not watch the original 1973 classic starring Yul Brynner? But if you want some quality filmmaking then look no further than QT's classic "Reservoir Dogs," which he recently said he toyed with remaking.
