    Martha Marcy May Marlene

This is one of Olsen's first films and one of her highest-rated films as well. She completely lets loose, showcasing her acting abilities as a crazed cult escapee teetering between reality and her perceived reality, not ever fully knowing what's real or fake. This performance has Olsen going from 0-100 with no real grip on her emotions in almost every interaction she has.

    Martha Marcy May Marlene

    Drama / 2011

After several years of living with a cult, Martha (Elizabeth Olsen) finally escapes and calls her estranged sister, Lucy (Sarah Paulson), for help. Martha finds herself at the quiet Connecticut home Lucy shares with her new husband, Ted (Hugh Dancy), but the memories of what she experienced in the cult make peace hard to find. As flashbacks continue to torment her, Martha fails to shake a terrible sense of dread, especially in regard to the cult's manipulative leader (John Hawkes).

    Wind River

This film puts Olsen in a more authoritative role, starring alongside fellow Avengers cast member Jeremy Renner. Her role as this FBI agent shows the raw strength and determination that she can bring to the table, scowering this isolated mountain for clues and finding herself in the occasional shootout.

    Captain America: Civil War

This final film on our list is the one we're sure you've been waiting for. Though Olsen has played Wanda Maximoff in multiple Marvel films, we chose this one because we feel she's very much in her element and certainly establishes herself as one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. The acting ability that this role requires is that of a high caliber and Olsen is able to bring this heroine to life beautifully.

    Captain America: Civil War

    Action / 2016

Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.
