Some people claim they are born to do something, and that this is their purpose in life. In the upcoming Lionsgate film "Voyagers," the kids that we see were all born to do something too... but it's not something they chose or had any control over. Sure, it may seem easy and convenient that their life is planned out for them, but at what cost?

After seeing the full-length trailer, we now better understand how absolutely absurd and insane the situation really is. We know this group of young, bright astronauts, is actually a group of familyless, emotionless test-tube babies that have all grown up on the ship together in space without ever having any choice. From the teaser trailer we knew that there were some drugs involved that was affecting the behavior of these youngsters, but to our surprise, the drugs they were getting weren't intended to intensify their senses, but to numb them.

When you're trying to build a controlled crew from scratch and you do so by isolating them in space and making them drink a blue sedative that desensitizes them, the minute they realize what's going on and decide to stop drinking the blue stuff, you can almost guarantee that their pupils are going to dilate the first time they hug someone or accidentally cut themself. If you've lived your entire life not feeling anything, and suddenly you can feel everything (oh yeah, and you're stuck in space), control is no longer a word in your vocabulary.

It's safe to say that this space expedition won't go according to plan, especially since it's estimated to take 86 years to find a habitable planet and that was under the assumption that the crew of adolescents in charge weren't trying to hook up or fight with each other throughout the process. It'll take a miracle for any of them to make it out alive, and we're really curious how this story of exploration will end.
