In this vast world, there are many different kinds of people you'll meet from all different walks of life.
While some strive to find a place where they can plant roots, others try to get the most out of this existence by not staying in one place for too long.
The new trailer for "Nomadland" (a film picking up lots of positive buzz) shows us life in the latter, with a woman named Fern (Oscar winner Frances McDormand) traveling around the world as a nomad.
Spoken as an outsider himself, the Old Cajun Man from "Joe Dirt" once said "home is where you make it," and that couldn't ring truer in this trailer.
For some, the journey is the destination, and the destination is wherever you want it to be that day.
Fern doesn't own a home in the traditional sense, but that doesn't mean she's homeless...she's just houseless.
And she's not completely alone on her long and winding road because there are other nomads like her that share her beliefs and lifestyle.
It's tough for Fern to maintain a job or any kind of constants in her life, but it's the sacrifice she makes to live how she wants.
With each day there's new challenges and adventures, and those things keep her moving, usually staying in one place no longer than a week at a time.
