Action / 2021 / PG-13

Warner Bros. released the first trailer for "Godzilla vs. Kong" which has the infamous sea monster facing off against the king of the jungle.

After the world finds itself under siege by an enormous, reptilian beast the likes of which no human can handle, the mortals decide their best option is to let loose another beast they've captured...as he's the lesser of the two evils?

These two folklore legends (Godzilla and King Kong) will be settling their ages-long war while all the civilians caught in the crossfire just try their best to survive.

As far as we can tell, the humans are rooting for Kong to take down the nuclear lizard, but it also begs the question, "What happens to Kong if he slays this monster? Will they set him free?"

The unspoken bond Kong shares with a courageous little girl may be the only thing stopping him from wreaking havoc on the rest of the world, but if Kong wins, he may be the next target on the world's list of liabilities.

Though there have been many battles throughout the Godzilla and King Kong franchises, this fight looks like it might be the most epic one yet.

"Godzilla vs. Kong" will be coming to theaters and streaming exclusively on HBO Max on March 26, 2021.

Check out the trailer below and prepare for the mega battle to see which beast will come out on top.
