Thanks to everyone who voted on Motion Picks (available in the Noovie Trivia app), our winner for the coolest movie gadget goes to Jarvis from "Iron Man."

Iron Man

Action / 2008 / PG-13

A billionaire industrialist and genius inventor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), is conducting weapons tests overseas, but terrorists kidnap him to force him to build a devastating weapon. Instead, he builds an armored suit and upends his captors. Returning to America, Stark refines the suit and uses it to combat crime and terrorism.

Though there were certainly many worthy gadgets to choose from, the voters decided that Tony Stark's artificial intelligence computer system, J.A.R.V.I.S., was the most impressive piece of tech (which is a decision that we wholeheartedly agree with). Tony Stark wouldn't be the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist/superhero that we've come to know if he didn't have this digital assistant as his constant aide.

Fun fact, J.A.R.V.I.S actually stands for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. And, an even more fun fact, this AI butler was named after an actual butler that worked for Howard Stark, Mr. Edwin Jarvis. It should be fairly obvious that this movie gadget was so much more than that.

J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany) started as the guiding voice for Iron Man and then after combining some of this AI's programming codes with vibranium and the Mind Stone, this digital assistant became Vision, one of the strongest members of the Avengers. It'd be pretty hard to argue that any other gadget would even come close to being as cool as J.A.R.V.I.S. (well maybe the hoverboard from "Back to the Future," but that's about it).

For those that might not agree with the pick, or maybe you just want to have a voice in our next decision, go to Motion Picks and vote for your favorites (and play lots of trivia) by downloading our Noovie Trivia App.
