At long last, we're finally starting to get the Marvel superhero train going again.
Fresh off the set for his upcoming video game adaptation film "Uncharted," Tom Holland is already onto the next set to start filming another project, which just so happens to be the currently untitled "Spider-Man 3" film.
Holland confirmed the news on his Instagram story, which can also be seen here on Comicbook's Instagram post.
In the video, the actor relays, "Okay so, we just landed in Atlanta. And uh...it's time for Spider-Man 3. Let's go!"
There has already been a ton of news that has come out around the third film of the MCU Spider-Man franchise, including the confirmation that Doctor Strange will be making an appearance in the film as well as Electro (aka the electric-powered villain from Andrew Garfield's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2").
The fact that Doctor Strange will be joining Spidey has led to fan speculation that Strange may have plans to open up a portal into another universe, or Spider-verse rather, especially since Electro is being brought back into the mix even though he's technically from another Spider-verse.
Could this mean a potential cameo from past Spider-men like Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, or other villains like Venom and maybe the Green Goblin?
Again, that's just us speculating (and wishfully thinking), but even so, we're very excited because we know Marvel has something in store and so far, they've slung the web right.
