A man with enough determination will never stop until he gets what he wants. But the real question is, what drives him? Some men might need to provide for their families, while others might just want to pursue a life of luxury. The man in this film is definitely determined. There's no question about that. But what drives him is...revenge. This in our opinion is one of the strongest drivers of all. The reason being that a person seeking revenge has had something taken away from them. It could be that they lost their pride, maybe lost some of their money, or even worse, maybe they lost a loved one. So, with the title of this film being called "Wrath of Man," can you guess what this man may have lost? Director Guy Ritchie runs through some of the details in our Noovie Backlot.

Noovie Backlot: "Wrath of Man"

The new story takes place in Los Angeles and centers around a man (Jason Statham) who's just joined a security team of cash truck drivers. Are his intentions pure? In his mind they are. In reality, not so much. With Statham and Ritchie teaming up again we can only imagine how thrilling this new movie will be. Talking about this new project Richie even goes so far to say, "This film is more violent, more gritty, and arguably more realistic than any of my other films..." Now that is saying something from the guy behind "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Plus, over-the-top violence in movies is Statham's bread and butter, so we're pumped.

Statham's character seems like a somewhat normal guy at first. Then from the trailer we see him get into his first shootout and realize, "Oh wait no he's crazy." He's not a cop and yet he's able to mow down entire groups of armed robbers like it's nothing. Even members of his own team begin to question who this guy is and where he came from. The more we learn we come to find that this guy's son was murdered in cold blood by a group of armed robbers during a cash truck heist. What are the odds that Statham's working in the cash truck business now? Now we understand the wrath he's about to bring. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and he's the coldest of them all.
