Netflix Party with You and Your Friends

We're entering a time where staying isolated could be the new norm for a bit, but that doesn't mean you have to give up Netflix and chilling with friends.

As the world moves into uncertain times, we hope everyone stays safe, washes their hands, and participates in social distancing.

But just because we can't be together in person doesn't mean we can't watch our favorite movies and tv shows together.

On Netflix, there's a solution...a Netflix party!

With streaming being the primary choice for at-home entertainment, there's now a Google Chrome extension that allows you and your friends to watch Netflix together virtually.

To try this out, first you need to install the Netflix Party extension on Google Chrome, which you can click here to install.

Then, you'll go to Netflix.com on your Google Chrome browser, find what you want to watch, click it, and click the "NP" (Netflix Party) button in the top right corner of your browser.

Once you click the extension button, you'll be given the option to "Start the party" and you can decide whether or not you have control, then you'll be given a link to send to friends.

After your friends click the party link, they will need to click the "NP" button as well, and then it's party time -- with a sidebar window to chat with friends while watching some quality movies and television.
