The Dignity of the Nobodies

Synopsis: This documentary examines the struggles of ordinary Argentinians dealing with their country's 1999 to 2002 economic crisis and political chaos. In the city, teacher Toba runs a soup kitchen, while priest Gustavo becomes so upset with widespread corruption that he leaves the church to pursue full-time activism. Outside the city, unemployed workers band together to protest, while factory workers reopen a closed plant by themselves, despite government opposition.
