It's been said that it's not fair to judge someone unless you've walked a mile in their shoes. Well, in this specific instance, almost everyone from the Hotel Transylvania fam will get to do just that. Sony released their second trailer for "Hotel Transylvania 4" today and it has everyone going berserk. Why? Because they've been transformed, with most members of the gang morphing from monsters into humans. And this is all made possible thanks to Van Helsing's insane invention, the "Monsterfication Ray." So, let's dig in.
Hotel Transylvania 4: Trailer Breakdown
Some of the monsters-turned-man seem to be pretty pleased with this little experiment. But others, including Dracula, are feeling a little differently. The whole reason this ray was being tested out was so that Johnny, Drac's son-in-law, could become a monster. He's never felt completely accepted by Drac and his new monster family because he was the only human. So, after talking with the kooky scientist Van Helsing, he decided to take a risk on his new invention. Everything was going well until the machine went haywire and began zapping everyone.
Now, in order to restore their natural form, the team will have to venture deep into the Amazon to reverse the transformations. And if they don't get there in time, the transformation will be permanent. Usually going on an expedition like that is a piece of cake. But now that most of these monsters are human, it might take them a while to get adjusted. Being a human instead of a monster has its advantages, but it also has way more disadvantages for some people... like Dracula. He's able to go into the sun, but now he'll need to make sure he packs sunglasses and sunscreen. Also, he can't fly anymore. So, all we can say is good luck trying to stay alive.
