We've learned some fantastic news today..."Deadpool 3" will be an MCU movie!

In an interview with Collider surrounding the release of Marvel’s first Disney+ series WandaVision which is set for later this week, MCU head Kevin Feige talked about various details regarding "Deadpool 3" saying, “It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

Feige also confirmed that this flick will be rated R, but honestly, we would've been more surprised if it was rated anything less than R.

The famous Merc with a Mouth brought to life by the very-talented Ryan Reynolds will now be causing some mayhem in the MCU and we're ready for it.

That said, with everything else on Marvel's plate, we likely won't be seeing this film until closer to 2023 as the earliest they would even be able to start production would be sometime in 2022.

Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will be writing the script for the foul-mouthed character and we're sure they're not going to hold back even though Deadpool may have to class it up a little bit if he wants to fit in with some of the other heroes in the MCU (or the new "Deadpool" franchise owners at family-friendly Disney).

Even though we'll have to wait a while for the next standalone Deadpool movie, we're crossing our fingers that he makes a cameo sooner than that, maybe even in the newest "Spider-Man 3" (?) film that's been getting a lot of buzz.

Regardless, we're happy to hear that Wade Wilson will finally make his cinematic debut in the MCU.
