Warner Bros. is rebooting the cult classic musical film "Little Shop of Horrors" and they're on the prowl for some fresh talent to sing, dance, and be eaten by an enormous talking Venus flytrap.
Greg Berlanti is set to direct the comedy horror film and he's in talks with some high-profile actors to fill the memorable roles. One major character we'll be happy to see once more is Orin Scrivello, the mad dentist who loves his job solely because it gives him an excuse to inflict pain on his patients.
Though it's not yet confirmed, THR has the word that Chris Evans will more than likely be taking on this kooky/sinister dentist role.
Just off the heels of "Knives Out" with Evans possibly still in a villainous type of mindset, the actor seems like a good fit. We'd love to see how his craziest version of the dentist comes across (especially since the last actor to wear the coat in the 1986 film was the legendary Steve Martin).
As for who'll be voicing the Audrey II (the killer plant), we can confirm that Billy Porter has officially signed on for the role. There have also been some other A-list negotiations happening.
Scarlett Johansson and Taron Egerton are both in talks with Warner to play the characters Audrey and Seymour.
If all the celebs do decide to sign on the dotted line, we're in for a killer reboot (pun most definitely intended)!
