It's a boy! Last week was the birth of Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin's first child and to celebrate we're showcasing each of their best movies, along with one other more recent film that they both starred in. That's right, this new baby isn't the only thing they've made together. So, let's kick off this list with some of their best flicks.
Macaulay Culkin's claim to fame. This is a movie that never goes out of style. It's especially popular around Christmas time. There's no doubt that if you tune into Freeform's annual 25 Days of Christmas, it'll be sure to pop up at some point. This film depicts every little kid's dream and nightmare. We can only imagine what havoc a child would wreak if they had no supervision. We can also imagine the fear they would feel if strangers tried to break in while mommy and daddy are away. That said, little Kevin McCallister doesn't seem to have any trouble taking on some clumsy burglars when they try to break into his house in this film.
This highly rated biographical drama has Brenda Song going from fun and casual to not-so-fun and a little crazy. She plays Christy Ling, the groupie-turned-girlfriend of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. Her performance in this film is a large stretch in character from her days on the Disney channel. The scene in the movie that sticks out for us, other than her R-rated introduction, is when, out of jealousy, she starts a fire in Eduardo's apartment. Yikes...
Finally, here is the film from our list of movies that has both Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin. Both these child stars are all grown up in this flick and even though they weren't each other's love interests in the film, they certainly were after it. The film follows a man coping with being cheated on, so he takes his best friend on what was supposed to be a honeymoon. Guess who's there to cheer him up? Song and Culkin both show this guy that's down in the dumps how to stop and smell the roses. And we're pretty sure that's what they're still doing right now as they celebrate their new baby boy! Congrats to the new, happy family!
