After the great success of John Krasinski's "A Quiet Place," fans have been waiting to see the sequel "A Quiet Place Part II" in theaters.
Unfortunately, that title was pushed to next year along with many other films, but the good news is...another "Quiet Place" production is already underway.
Krasinski came up with the idea to produce a spinoff film, which will be written and directed by "Midnight Special" director Jeff Nichols.
The film will most likely be independent of the other films, but will take place in the same monster-filled universe.
The first film received great reviews from critics and audiences, as well as netting over $340 million worldwide at the box office on a roughly $20 million production budget.
"A Quiet Place Part II" is still scheduled for theatrical release on April 23, 2021, and we're happy to hear that the quiet world will be getting even louder with this new spinoff film.
Krasinski will be producing with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.
There aren't any other details that we're aware of as the filmmakers are keeping it very much under wraps, but we'll be sure to share more as information is released. The initial news broke from a report from THR.
